This position is mainly responsible for administering payroll, human resources data processing functions for salaried, hourly or commissioned personnel within multiple companies with additional HR Generalist responsibilities.

What you'll be doing:
Administers timely and accurate regular payroll processing items, including on-cycle, off-cycle, commission and bonus items while maintaining strict confidentiality of information reviewed and processed.
Reviews/Analyzes all steps of the payroll process to ensure accurate and timely completions of payroll transactions.
Maintains a strong working knowledge of the payroll process, company procedures, and HRIS systems.
Reviews, analyzes, and audits payroll data to ensure accuracy and minimize exposure by following labor laws, and departmental procedures.
Provides outstanding payroll services support to our leaders and teammates.
Must have the ability to multi-task and manage changing or competing priorities.
Prepares ad-hoc reports utilizing Paylocity.
Researches, validates and corrects employee data in payroll system delivering a high level of quality customer service.
Works with department members, management and/or employees to identify issues and achieve timely resolutions.
Verifies and proofreads timecards for non-exempt teammates for accuracy.
Batch and enter payroll information on hours worked to include check adjustments and error corrections.
Research payroll problems and resolve issues.
Assist in preparation and processing of new-hire paperwork.
Assist with setup and maintenance of employee personnel files.
Complete employment verification forms, unemployment requests, and workers compensation claims as needed.
Be a team player and stay positive to an ongoing and changing environment.
Demonstrate the ability to handle pressure when attempting to meet deadlines and performance goals.
Adhere to and perform reporting requirements as it pertains to HR/Payroll/Tax/Benefit compliance
Provide a wide variety of HR generalist duties which could include: HR, Payroll Compliance, Policy and Procedure, Payroll Management and Benefits Administration.

What you must have:
Bachelor’s Degree with 2 - 4 years experience processing payroll.
Detail oriented.
Strong Excel skills with ability to create pivot tables and charts, Vlookup and common Excel formulas
Strong communication skills with emphasis on outstanding customer service.
Excellent oral/written communication skills Intermediate math skills.
Above average problem solving skills.
Ability to create new solutions to achieve desired results if necessary.
What's Nice to Have:
Experience with Paylocity or other payroll systems such as ADP
Certified Payroll Professional (CPP)
Familiar with payroll laws by state, especially those in Florida, Texas, Arizona, and Colorado
Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred
