Description
The Pharmacy Sales Oncology Lead leverages targeted geographic analysis, engages with Physician offices to influence physicians to route patients' prescriptions to Humana Pharmacy for fulfillment. The Pharmacy Sales Oncology Lead works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.
Responsibilities
The Pharmacy Sales Oncology Lead serves an extraordinary purpose. This role will hold a focus on increasing orders to Humana Pharmacy within the oncology therapeutic area, resulting in increased prescriptions and revenues. The Lead will also help deliver on the broad strategic growth goals for Humana Pharmacy in Medicare (MAPD), Humana PDP, and all payers. The Pharmacy Sales Oncology Lead also advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action. The Pharmacy Sales Oncology Lead will also be responsible for delivering breakthrough innovations that extend and improve the overall Sales Model. This role requires dynamic, driven, individuals who bring extensive background in Oncology Sales. The Pharmacy Sales Oncology Lead should influence beyond specific geography and demonstrate strategic, consistent actions.
Location: Field position with remote office.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
8 or more years Sales Experience
2 or more years of project leadership experience
Ability to work with minimal direction
Ability to multitask and prioritize
This role is part of Humana's Driver safety program and therefore requires an individual to have a valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with at least 100/300/100 limits
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Understanding of business dynamics
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with partnering business segments
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to work and collaborate with dynamic Specialty Sales Team
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
2 years oncology field sales experience strongly preferred
Six Sigma/Lean Black belt or similar process improvement certifications
Managed Care Experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Visio (or similar process mapping tool) and statistical software packages
Bilingual in English and Spanish--ability to read, write and speak both languages fluently
