As the Associate Analyst, HR Operations, you will play a key role in ensuring that we continue to encourage, support and retain our employees. You'll be responsible for the full scope of Human Resources (HR) activities, including developing tools, reports, techniques and/or assists in implementing reporting systems for operations support. You'll also lead various HR projects, communicate employment laws and regulations, and maintain a union-free work environment. What you'll do on a typical day:
Consolidate, track, trend and report operations data that is derived from multiple data points
Create daily, weekly and monthly reports and presentations as needed for Senior Leadership team to be presented to key stakeholders, other business leaders, company executives, customers, etc.
Provide tools to Operations Management and Process Managers to detect problem areas in real time and take timely action
Develop tools, reports and techniques; assist with implementing reporting systems for operations support such as ensuring reporting consistency, standardized formatting, professional presentation, and process/issue documentation
Review and create subsequent reporting and process
Run queries to extract data for reports and ad hoc analyses
Work closely with the operations team providing counsel and guidance regarding policies, procedures, and state and federal regulatory compliance requirements
Keep management and operations informed of internal and external HR developments that may impact overall effectiveness
What you need to succeed at GXO:
At a minimum, you'll need:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
It'd be great if you also have:
1 year of HR experience
Experience working with HRIS and time/attendance systems
Knowledge of multiple human resources disciplines, including federal and state employment and benefits laws
Professional HR certification
Bilingual English/Spanish
