Applicants must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.SUMMARY:Performs utility and support tasks as directed by supervisor, pick-up and delivery of parts and equipment, basic service checks of Branch equipment and maintenance of related records, shop, and office housekeeping. Primary tasks associated with the role include the repair and maintenance of Spider equipment and assistance in rigging of Spider swing staging.The ideal candidate MUST have valid driveru2019s license and clean driving record. Prior experience operating a forklift and be certified is a plus. Pay close attention to detail, quick learner, self-motivated, coachable, and dependable. Must be able to drive commercial vehicle - Non-CDL. Must have a valid driver's license with clean driving record, must pass DOT physical, TWIC card is a plus.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:This role is expected to:u00b7 Operates Company vehicles in a safe and responsible manner for the pick-up and delivery of equipment, parts, tools, and material as directed.u00b7 Performs periodic safety inspections and maintenance checks on Company vehicles and Spider equipment and insures that required maintenance actions are accomplished on schedule and maintains related records.u00b7 Performs general warehousing tasks such as the receiving and storing of parts and material as well as packaging and shipping parts and material and maintains related records.u00b7 Drive forklift to move inventory and materials across the facility.u00b7 Prepares orders by processing request and supply orders; pulling materials, packing boxes, placing orders, and inspect return equipment.u00b7 Sort and place parts, materials or equipment on racks, shelves, or in bins, and store inventory in the proper location according to Spider standards.u00b7 Performs daily general housekeeping and janitorial tasks to keep both shop and office spaces clean and orderly.u00b7 As directed, assists Service Mechanics in the maintenance and repair of Spider equipment and accessories in the shop and at job sites.After training, may properly rig, safely operate, and use all Spider standard equipment and accessories.KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:To perform the job successfully, an individual should be able to utilize the following skills:u00b7 Ability to work in elevated construction areas without fear of heights.u00b7 Must be ready to do heavy work and understand that Safety is first on everything we do.u00b7 Must be able to lift 75 lbs. and carry for extended period (up to 15 minutes) several times during one shift.u00b7 Organize, attention to detail, inventory control skills and teamwork.u00b7 Good time management and documentation skills.u00b7 Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.u00b7 Safety first attitude.u00b7 Positive attitude, self-motivated.EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:u00b7 High School Diploma or equivalent.u00b7 Valid driveu2019s license with clean driving record (required).u00b7 Must be able to drive commercial vehicle - Non CDL.u00b7 Must pass DOT physical.u00b7 Construction site/warehouse/ rigging experience preferred.u00b7 Related vocational training and/or one year of related in warehouse experience helpful.u00b7 Mechanical Aptitude preferred.u00b7 Prior experience with Forklift card/training.u00b7 TWIC card is a plus.u00b7 Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.u00b7 DOT Medical Card.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
