Description

The MarketPoint Sales Representative - PR sells individual health plan products and services in a field setting. The MarketPoint Sales Representative - PR work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

Responsibilities

The MarketPoint Sales Representative - PR makes sales presentations to qualified Medicare participants at Points of Sales, their homes, doctors' offices, etc. using approved presentation material and guidelines. Prospects and initiates sales opportunities with seniors--individually or in groups--to sell Medicare Advantage Plans. Makes on-site presentations to prospective seniors or senior groups to increase enrollment and qualifies prospects on site and closes sale if possible. Also visits doctors offices and elderly homes to help increase Humana presence and beneficiaries. Helps to influence department's and regional strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues and works with minimal supervision. Must be results orientated, disciplined and well organized.

Required Qualifications

Active Health Insurance License in Puerto Rico (Or Provisional License active).

Any associate who is hired with Provisional Licenses has 180 days to acquire the regular licenses. In the event that DOI provides a testing date past the 180 days window, associates will need to inform their leader. Failure to comply will result in termination of employment.

1 year of Sales Experience

Bilingual English/Spanish. Basic level of communication skills in English . Candidate selected will not be communicating in English with members

Ability to establish relationships with community partners

Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills

Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Word.

Ability to successfully navigate mobile applications.

High level of self-motivation; ability to accomplish goals independently

Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

DRIVE REQUIREMENTS:

This job is part of Humana's Driver safety program and therefore requires an individual to have a valid PR driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with at least 100/300/100 limits and requires running a Motor Vehicle Report as part of the background check process.

COVID VACCINATION:

Humana and its subsidiaries require vaccinated associates who work outside of their home to submit proof of vaccination, including COVID-19 boosters. Associates who remain unvaccinated must either undergo weekly negative COVID testing OR wear a mask at all times while in a Humana facility or while working in the field.

Work-At-Home Requirements:

* Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office.* A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload) is required. * Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role.

Preferred Qualifications

Associate's or Bachelor's Degree

Sales experience in a managed health care setting preferred

Active Disability and Life insurance license in Puerto Rico (Or Provisional Licenses active)

Additional Information

Sign-On bonus of $3,500 plus additional $6,500K retention bonus paid in a period of 1 year.

Schedule

: Monday to Friday. Regularly it will be required working on weekends and/or odd hours.

This is a field-based Job

. Though you will work at home or in the office at times to make phone calls or set appointments, you will primarily be out and about in the community, engaging with key influencers and members at a travel rate of more than 100%.

CMSRT Assessment

* : Humana mandates that agents take the CMS RT (Required Training) BEFORE to be hired. There are 2 tests in that course. Both tests must be passed with an 85% or better score within 6 test attempts. This course takes most agents an average of 3 hours to complete

Training:

3 Week virtual experience/Sales Workshop (Weeks 2, 3 and 4 of employment). Market Orientation completed the first week of employment
