PRN/ Part Time Opportunity

RECEPTIONIST

- who is interested in being a part of something great! Due to company needs, we are looking to hire variable staffing in the receptionist role for our clinics. The receptionist will be covering PTO, Sick calls and on a PRN basis. They will float between San Antonio clinics. Mileage will be reimbursed

Responsibilities:

Welcomes patients and visitors

Comforts and assists patients, answering patients' questions

Maintains the reception area

Helps patients in distress by responding to emergencies

Appointment scheduling

Verification of insurances

Collecting patient charges

Vaccine Policy

For this job, associates are required to be fully COVID vaccinated, including booster or undergo weekly COVID testing and wear a face covering while at work. The weekly testing will need to be done through an approved Humana vendor, and unvaccinated associates should follow all social distancing and masking protocols if they are required to come into a Humana facility or work outside of their home. If progressed to offer, you will be required to:

Provide proof of full vaccination, including booster or commit to testing protocols OR  

Provide proof of applicable exemption including any required supporting documentation

Medical, religious, state and remote-only work exemptions are available.

Requirements:

Must be a team player with excellent communication skills

Six months to one year of relevant experience and /or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Previous experience in patient or customer focused role

Willingness to learn and be cross trained in other roles based on business need

Excellent Customer Service and phone etiquette.

Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)

This role is considered patient facing and is part of the company's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB.

Preferred:

Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Previous eCW experience

Previous experience in a Medical Office or Clinical Setting

Working Hours:

The standard hours of the clinic are Monday to Friday 8AM - 5P

Hours can change and vary based on business needs

Training will require two weeks at 40 hours/per week

This role is a Variable Staffing Pool (VSP), similar to a PRN role.

This role is a float position for the San Antonio Market (to include Floresville and New Braunfels). Mileage will be reimbursed.

Reliable transportation required.
