The Role
The Operations Coordinator represents the scope of, quality and clinical management support, directing communication between patients and colleagues, maintain office equipment and supplies, referrals authorization, data sharing, connectivity, scheduling preventives (HEDIS and STARs), organizing schedules for meeting and events, participating on community events, handling sensitive information in a confidently matter, overseeing and supervise internship program, running monthly reports for providers distribution, operational improvements and other areas as they relate to provider performance, market growth, provider experience and operational excellence. Decisions are typically focus on area/department policy and methods for completing assignments. Works within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards and works under complete direction of reginal director. Follows standard policies/practices that allow for some opportunity for interpretation/deviation.
Vaccine Policy
Humana and its subsidiaries require vaccinated associates who work outside of their home to submit proof of vaccination, including COVID-19 boosters. Associates who remain unvaccinated must either undergo weekly negative COVID testing OR wear a mask at all times while in a Humana facility or while working in the field.
Required Qualifications
A minimum of two years of administrative, operations support or customer service experience
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, to include Word and Excel
Bilingual (English, Spanish)
Strong oral and written communications skills
Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor Degree
Previous healthcare experience
Previous experience with EMR software (specifically, eClinical Works)

In person role; will be report to Corporate Headquarters
Local travel may be required in role
