Responsibilities

Be part of the Retail Operations world - Work with business areas to drive operational compliance.

Humana is seeking a Risk Management Lead to help identify risks, set strategy, and oversee initiatives that will drive operational excellence, advance compliance results, and confirm audit readiness with our business solutions.

Collaborate with business areas, Market leaders, Regulatory Compliance, and Internal Audit to increase business acumen, rethink routine, build internal controls and monitoring solutions, set policies, and drive improvements that support cost-effective, compliant solutions.

Manage dashboard and other reporting tools. Drive culture of operational excellence, consistent process monitoring and improvement.

Effectively influence the multiple processes and components of the Retail organization, its stakeholders and environment, acting in ways that utilize best practices, innovate and optimize business performance.

Oversee implementation / execution of all remediation efforts related to business and/or compliance gaps.

Effectively manage and drive strong accountability in agile work environment.

Grow talent by inspiring extraordinary results with engaged associates, valuing diversity and shaping culture to support a high performance environment.

Special projects as assigned.

Role Essentials

Bachelor's Degree

5 years of experience in auditing, process design/improvement and/or business consulting

Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with Associates at all levels of the organization

Experience with project management, process improvement or developing solutions

Demonstrated relationship building skills

Strong organization skills

Comprehensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Teams

Humana and its subsidiaries require vaccinated associates who work outside of their home to submit proof of vaccination, including COVID-19 boosters. Associates who remain unvaccinated must either undergo weekly negative COVID testing OR wear a mask at all times while in a Humana facility or while working in the field.

You will report to a Director of Operational Risk Management. This area is under the leadership of a Senior Vice President, Medicare.

Additional Information

Work at Home/Remote Requirements Must ensure designated work area is free from distractions during work hours and virtual meetings Must provide a high-speed DSL or cable modem for a workspace (Satellite and Hotspots are prohibited). A minimum standard speed of 10x1 (10mbs download x 1mbs upload) for optimal performance is required.
