Description
The Senior Community Centers Professional assumes broad responsibility for a defined geographic region containing member centered community centers for CarePlus. The Senior Community Centers Professional oversees operations for a specific location and work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
Responsibilities
The Senior Community Centers Professional is responsible for financial performance, center operations, member attraction/growth and retention, utilization management, center margin performance and cost control initiatives. Develops and maintains innovative partnership opportunities with health and wellbeing vendors, grows the managed service business, optimizes the traffic of the center and develops relationships in the community. Begins to influence department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree, or in lieu of degree, a minimum 5 years of demonstrated people leadership experience or overseeing a medical office, wellbeing center or retail type location.
Prior in-person experience in customer service within the Retail or Medical
Demonstrated record of achieving performance goals and objectives
Demonstrated ability to produce desired results by leveraging resources, managing resources and relationships effectively, and defining and communicating clear expectations
Demonstrated strong interpersonal, proactive communication and leadership skills including a willingness to consistently provide superior customer service, the ability to react appropriately under pressure, and the ability to apply good judgment in ambiguous situations
Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with associates, consumers and internal and external business and community partners
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs, e.g. Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Fully Bilingual English/Spanish. Must be able to speak, read and write in both languages without limitations or assistance. If selected for the position, you will be required to take a Language Proficiency Assessment in English/Spanish. See Additional Information on testing
Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19

Schedule:
Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm (in person). May need to work on special events after-hours or on a Saturday. Advance notice (30 days) will be provided for special events
Training:
Training will be done as a hybrid of virtual and in-person. Role will require some travel to Winter Haven, FL to shadow our existing center. Travel/Mileage reimbursement will be provided.
Work Location (Address):
This position will be virtual with some travel to the Winter Haven Center up until the Orlando Center opens. Once the center opens, this position will deploy to the following location: 4442 Curry Ford Road, Orlando, FL 32812

Language Proficiency Testing (English/Spanish):
Any Humana associate who speaks with a member in a language other than Spanish and/or English must take a language proficiency assessment, provided by an outside vendor, to ensure competency. Applicants will be required to take the Interagency Language Rating (ILR) test as provided by the Federal Government.

: Senior Community Centers Professional will be opening and managing a CarePlus retail location.
For this job, associates are required to be fully COVID vaccinated, including booster or undergo weekly COVID testing and wear a face covering while at work. The weekly testing will need to be done through an approved Humana vendor, and unvaccinated associates should follow all social distancing and masking protocols if they are required to come into a Humana facility or work outside of their home.
