The South Florida Senior Pharmacy Sales Executive (Specialty Rx) leverages targeted geographic analysis, engages with Physician offices to influence physicians to route patients' prescriptions to Humana Pharmacy for fulfillment.

Responsibilities

The Senior Pharmacy Sales Executive (Specialty Rx) focuses on increasing orders to Humana Pharmacy for Specialty medications, resulting in increased prescriptions and revenues.

You will spend time building relationships on front office to back office medical clinic sales calls within the territory and provide staff education and information on options for patient use of Specialty Pharmacy medications. In-person office visits will be impacted based on Covid guidance.

The territory for this position is Fort Lauderdale and south (throughout Miami). It is preferred that candidates live within this area.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

Previous experience working in sales with documented success

Experience working in a healthcare setting and/or managed care environment

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Flexible, dynamic personality who works well in a team environment

Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with partnering business segments

Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Power Point

This role is part of Humana's Driver safety program and therefore requires an individual to have a valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with at least 100/300/100 limits

Preferred Qualifications

Specialty Pharmacy or Managed Care experience preferred

Experience with Pharmacy reporting or the Pharmaceutical industry

Self-motivation

Bilingual in English and Spanish--ability to read, write and speak both languages fluently
