Bilingual Information Jobs description

Bilingual information professionals have to translate documents and letters and also handle the responsibility of writing letters, e-mails, and reports in a foreign language. The Bilingual information professionals shoulder the responsibility of translating or summarizing articles from foreign journals. Bilingual information professionals speak in the relevant foreign language on the phone or face-to-face interpreting at meetings. Bilingual information professionals act as personal assistant to a manager, organize meetings, making appointments, and keeping a diary. The responsibilities might also include filing, typing, photocopying, and updating computer databases.

To work as a bilingual information professional you will need a reasonable level of fluency in at least one foreign language, plus good IT and administrative skills. The job candidate will be preferred over others especially if he or she possesses OCR Entry Level Certificates in Business Language Competence for French, German, Italian, Japanese, Russian, or Spanish.
